United Way
I was hosting the Ottawa Regional Tournament’s exhibition rounds, held at the Museum of Science and Tech’s auditorium when, at the end of the show, I was surprised by CTV broadcasters and representatives from the United way with a Community Builder Award for my work with Canadian Improv Games. I was nominated by the parents of a player who couldn’t believe how much their kid had grown in confidence and ability through the program. It is a really cool honour to be able to tell folks to look for my name on a plaque in City Hall!
