Accidentally faked death
When stepping down as President of Canadian Improv Games (CIG) in 2016, following my 16 year career with the Charity, I actively shared the events of my last day on social media. These posts prompted people to share their experiences working with me and CIG, resulting in a truly overwhelming number of posts reminiscing about all the great things done during my tenure. The reaction grew larger than the initial posts so much that all some folks could see was “I’ll always remember that time with AL where…” and “we’ll miss you”, prompting some concern that I had died. It was a very touching experience for which I will always be grateful.
