Expanding Horizons

In 2016, the University of Ottawa, launched the EMBA in Complex Project Leadership, modeled after a similar program at Australia’s Queensland Univeristy of Technology. One of the distinctive components of this new Masters program was a module called Expanding Horizons, a highly experiential learning component which reflects a philosophy that the arts can offer a multitude of avenues for formulating solutions in complex environments. Myself and Alexandra Williams were chosen, due to our arts and improvisation backgrounds to adapt the Australian program for Canadian candidates, and have been running the program ever since.
