Only sound designer nominated in category

Ok, well, I proclaimed myself King while accepting the award for Outstanding Design at the 2018 Prix Rideau Awards for designing the sound for the multi-award winning productinon of Trey Anthony’s How Black Mothers Say I Love You at the GCTC. In the history of the amalgamated design award category, I’m the only Anglophone designer ever nominated for Sound, with 3 nominations and 2 wins.
