Founded Crush with crashers at u of o

Back in the mid-aughts, there wasn’t too much improv comedy going on in Ottawa. I started hosting a drop-in improv jam at the University of Ottawa’s theatre building. We’d just show up and use whatever room was empty, since the doors were never locked. Over time, there were five performers who were regular attendees of these covert jams, and so the five of us gave it a name. Those five played their first gig in November of 2007 under the name Crush Improv.
